IEEE 802.11, also known by the brand Wi-Fi, denotes a set of Wireless LAN / WLAN standards developed by the Group Work 11 of IEEE / LAN MAN Standards Committee (IEEE 802). 802.11 The term is also used to refer to this set of rules and should not be confused with one of its elements. There is no single 802.11x standard. The term IEEE 802.11 is also used to refer to the original 802.11, which is now sometimes called "802.11 legacy. "In applying these standards see Wi-Fi. cardThe A Compaq 802.11b PCI 802.11 family currently includes six in the air modulation techniques that all use the same protocol. The most popular techniques are those defined by the B, A and G amendments to the original norm, security was originally included and was later reinforced via the 802.11i amendment. 802.11n is another modulation technique that has developed recently, the standard is still under development, although products designed based on the draft standard are being sold. Other standards in the family (cf, h, j) are service enhancements and extensions or corrections to previous specifications. 802.11b was the first widely accepted standard for wireless networks, followed (somewhat illogical) by 802.11a and 802.11g. 802.11b and 802.11g use the 2.40 GHz (gigahertz) band operation (in the U.S.) in Part 15 of FCC Rules and Regulations. Because of this choice of frequency band, 802.11b and 802.11g equipment can incur interference microwave ovens, cordless phones, Bluetooth devices and other devices using the same band. The 802.11a standard uses the 5 GHz band and is therefore not the products that operate in the 2.4GHz band segment of the radio frequency spectrum used varies between countries, with strict limitations on the States USA. While in the U.S. and G 802.11a devices can be legally operated without a license, not true that 802.11a and g operate in an unlicensed portion of spectrum radio frequency. Unlicensed (legal) operation of 802.11 A & G is covered under Part 15 of the FCC Rules and Regulations. Frequencies used by the channel one (1) through six (6) (802.11b) fall within the range of 2.4 gigahertz amateur radio band. The licensed amateur radio operators may operate 802.11b / g devices on the part 97 of FCC Rules and Regulations, which allows higher power but not allowing any commercial content.

TV Satellite vs. Cable TV Networks
TV Satellite vs. Cable TV Networks. Both of the satellite and cable TV will work almost same. Comparing the two TVs which are viewed online on a high speed broadband, TV satellite win the game, why? The best obvious reasons being the cost, picture of high density program choices due to wide ranges up to 3500 channels over broadband connection free and best of all the satisfaction to customers.
Talking of satellite TV being the best over the cable TV is because, cable TV fees across the world cost an average of29.99 dollars per month for less channels still. However for satellite TV over connection it will be free of charge and air 3500 channels so if outweigh cable TV.
Other difference will include, cable TV air the channels over the air in analog format while satellite TV will air streams live in digital format. It also has HD pictures and a lot of channels in different languages.
Moreover you will need a cable box that connect incoming cable line to your TV, while for satellite TV the cables or wires hooked because streams are online so only internet connection is needed for free.
Lastly the two satellites TV provide dishes and direct networks, offer great customer satisfaction than cable TV with limited Tv Channels and low High Density pictures. Hence I prefer online and enjoy variety of sports among others in clear crystal streams live on your pc.
I prefer you have the software based because it has more benefit than cable TV and more so is compatible to your operating systems.
